Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic we have approached physical gathering with caution as restrictions lift.

Our Activities

Update on church activities

(updated 15th October 2021)

Lord’s Day Services

We are currently meeting in Sandwick Hall at 11am. However, we’re continuing to livestream our morning service on the Sermon Audio website at 11am each Lord’s Day.

We are now meeting on Sunday evenings in the Seminary on Francis Street, Stornoway at 6:30pm. This service will still be livestreamed on the congregation’s YouTube channel. There are no restrictions on numbers. However, seating at the back of the seminary has been allocated for those who wish to remain at a social distance.

Prayer Meetings

Tuesday Prayer Meetings (English)

The Tuesday Prayer Meeting will resume on Tuesday 31st August at 7.30pm in the Fàilte Centre. Our hope is that those who are housebound, are self-isolating or who may still have concerns about gathering in person will be able to access this meeting via Zoom.

Thursday Prayer Meetings (Gaelic)

The Thursday Prayer Meeting will resume on Thursday 10th September at 7.30pm. The Kirk Session have also agreed to having a joint Gaelic Prayer Meeting with the Stornoway Free Church (Kenneth Street) Congregation on the first Thursday of each month and we would encourage all those who would normally attend our own Gaelic Prayer Meeting to attend this meeting.

  • 1st Thursday – (joint Gaelic Prayer Meeting) – Seminary, Francis Street
  • Every other Thursday – Fàilte Centre, Bayhead

Saturday Prayer Meetings (English)

The Saturday Prayer Meetings will continue to meet via Zoom at 7:30pm

All of the above is Lord willing.
