Due to the current COVID-19 situation we are returning cautiously to gathering together as the restrictions lift.
Our Activities
Overview of church activities
(updated 15 October 2021)
Lord’s Day Services
We will be meeting in Sandwick Hall at 11am every week. However, the morning service will still be available on our Sermon Audio at the the same time.
Our evening service will be in the Seminary on Francis Street, Stornoway at 6:30pm. The service will continue to be livestreamed on the High Free Church YouTube. There are no restrictions on numbers, but seats at the back will be kept for those who wish to maintain social distancing.
Prayer Meetings
Prayer Meetings – Tuesday (English)
The prayer meeting is in the Fàilte Centre at 7:30pm. For those who are still concerned about gathering, those who are self-isolating and those who are homebound the meeting will be available on Zoom.
Prayer Meeting – Thursday (Gaelic)
The Gaelic prayer meeting is on Thursday at 7:30pm in the Fàilte Centre. The Kirk Session agreed that on the first Thursday of every month there will be a joint meeting between the High Free Church and Stornoway Free Church (Kenneth Street). We would encourage any who would normally go to our Gaelic meeting to attend the joint meeting too.
1st Sunday of month – Joint Gaelic Prayer Meeting – The Seminary, Francis Street
Every other Thursday – Fàilte Centre, Bayhead
Saturday Prayer Meetings (English)
The Saturday prayer meeting will continue to meet on Zoom at 7:30pm.
Everything God willing.
